Big Bro couple flirt towards eviction vote

Big Brother ‘‘will they, won’t they’’ couple Helen Adams and Paul Clarke were today continuing their flirty relationship, certain in the knowledge one of them is to be booted out in the eviction vote at the end of the week.

The pair, whose smouldering relationship has kept the nation entertained over the last two weeks, put a brave face on their nominations yesterday, hugging each other and congratulating the others for making it so far.

Fans of Big Brother have watched with interest and frustration over the past fortnight as the couple’s friendship has developed.

Paul and Helen have shared a series of intimate moments together including a romantic dinner and several of heart-to-heart chats.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning the pair cuddled under blankets in the house’s secluded den and spoke about how much they fancied each other.

But, while they admit to having feelings for each other they have been unwilling - so far - to take things on to a physical level.

Both said they were expecting to be up for nomination and will now have to wait until Friday to see who the public decides to boot out.

Paul told the housemates: ‘‘If I went out on Friday then as far as I am concerned a great girl in Helen is going through.’’

He added: ‘‘I tell you I will be going out there a happy geezer.’’

It is the third time Helen has been nominated, having escaped eviction last week at the expense of Josh.

But for Paul this is the fifth time he has faced the boot, being the most nominated member in the house.

Despite Paul having avoided the boot in four previous public votes, bookies quickly installed him as favourite to leave the house on Friday.

Bookmakers Coral Eurobet offered odds of 1/4 for Paul to be evicted while Helen was at 5/2.

Brian remained favourite to win the overall £70,000 prize with odds of 1/4.
