Big Brother flirts get cold feet again

Big Brother's flirty housemates Helen and Paul sneaked off to the den last night to share a bed - but did nothing more exciting than play snakes and ladders.

The couple took blankets into the den in the early hours and snuggled down together in the makeshift bed.

But viewers hoping to see the first Big Brother kiss were disappointed when the pair opted to play the board game instead.

At one stage things appeared to be hotting up when they lay side by side and Helen stroked Paul's face.

He admitted that it felt "lovely" but things went no further and after a couple of hours they went back to their separate rooms inside the house.

At one point Big Brother attempted to heighten the tension by plunging the den into darkness, but no avail.

Helen, 23, who is unaware that boyfriend Big G has dumped her over her flirtation with Paul, joked about what life would be like when the show has ended.

"I'm picturing you and me in Hello, like 'Helen and Paul go shopping together'," she said.

Paul replied: "Forget all that, that's just not going to happen."

But when Helen asked the 25-year-old car designer if he would see her again outside the house, he said: "Yeah, I hope so."
