Naples lawyers offer free help for Maradona trial
Diego Maradona may be defended for free by more than 100 lawyers when his Italian court trial starts in June.
The former Argentina international, who played for Napoli from 1985 to 1990, is accused of evading nearly £20m in tax.
The lawyers from Naples have offered to work for nothing to help his defence, saying it is the right reward for what Maradona did for their city.
The trial follows Maradona's arrest last year. He was detained by police at Rome airport after coming back from Argentina to host a TV programme.
