Country star Loretta Lynn in hospital

Loretta Lynn has been admitted to a Tennessee hospital suffering from pneumonia.

A spokesperson for the 65-year-old Country music star says Loretta was in good shape on a recent US TV show but started to complain of chest pains several days later and checked herself into hospital.

Lynn, best known for hits including You Ain't Woman Enough and Woman Of The World, has now been forced to cancel a series of personal appearances.
