Irish representative at Oscars

The highlight of the Hollywood calendar takes place tonight when this years Oscars ceremony will take place in Los Angeles.

The Roman epic, Gladiator, is nominated for twelve awards, with the martial arts drama, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, in second place with ten nominations.
