Smokers march against NY restaurant ban
Hundreds of smokers have marched to New York's City Hall to protest against a proposed law that would ban smoking in the city's 21,000 restaurants.
The demonstrators were joined by restaurant owners, waiters and bartenders in their protest against the Smoke Free Air Act.
This act also proposes a ban on smoking in city vehicles, including police cars, but would continue to allow smoking in bars and nightclubs.
