Five victims linked by vCJD deaths

The lives of five victims of the human form of mad cow disease barely crossed, but all had one macabre link - the picturesque village of Queniborough in Leicestershire.

The farming and commuter community, with two pubs, a newsagent, post office, church, village hall and butcher’s shop, has been dubbed "the village of the damned" following the deaths of the five in their prime.
