A man who infected his girlfriend with the HIV virus despite knowing it would put her life in danger has been jailed for five years.

Stephen Kelly, 33, was found guilty last month by a Scottish jury of acting culpably and recklessly by having unprotected sex with 34-year-old mother-of-three Anne Craig, even though he had known for six months he was HIV positive.
