Eubank and Duffy clash over 'grope joke'

Tension is mounting in the Celebrity Big Brother house after Chris Eubank and Boyzone's Keith Duffy clashed.

Ex-boxing champ Eubank has become more isolated after missing out on a drinking binge overnight which kept him awake until the early hours.

The crossfire of words came as Brookside's Claire Sweeney talked about having to do a lesbian kiss on screen, which prompted Eubank to ask Duffy if he had ever had any homosexual inclinations.

Eubank said: "You say you are not that way inclined - do you have anything to say to me about that time in Dublin?"

Duffy replied: "Well, taking into account I am married with two children, what happened in Dublin was just a term of endearment."

The conversation aroused the interest of the other celebrities eager to find out what had happened in the Irish capital.

Eubank became increasingly agitated and said he would prefer the pop star not to say anything. But Duffy replied: "Let me tell you, you are safe in your bed tonight Chris."

Eubank stalked out of the room and Duffy disclosed that he had grabbed the ex-boxer's testicles when he asked for the popstar's autograph for a friend.

Duffy, who had been performing at a Boyzone concert which Eubank attended, said: "I said that he was worse than the fans and went up to him and grabbed his balls. I did not think Chris would take offence."

Viewers will see the 45-minute round up on Channel 4 at 9pm. Although it will be decided at 10pm whether Eubank or Anthea Turner will become the first celebrity to be evicted from the house, viewers will not find out who has gone until tomorrow night.
