SOS after ship and fishing boat collide

A Turkish freighter has been sending out SOS signals after colliding with a fishing boat off France's northwest Atlantic coast.

The ship, carrying a load of used cars, was heading back to Turkey when it collided with an unidentified French trawler about 15 miles southeast of Belle-Ile-en-Mer, a small island off the Brittany coast.
