Hamas leader shot in West Bank

A leading Hamas activist has been seriously wounded in the West Bank by shots witnesses say were fired from nearby Israeli army positions.

The wounded man, Mahmoud Madani, was walking from a mosque in the Balata refugee camp to his nearby grocery shop when he was gunned down.
