Man charged with Sarah Payne murder

A 42-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Sarah Payne.

Roy Whiting has been charged with the murder of schoolgirl Sarah Payne.

The 42-year-old was also charged with the kidnapping of the eight-year-old.

Whiting, of Littlehampton, West Sussex, will appear before magistrates at Chichester, West Sussex, tomorrow at 10am.
