Estrada 'must resign by 10pm'

Philippine president Joseph Estrada has reportedly been given until 10pm to resign.

Senator Raul Roco says the country's United Opposition has agreed to give Mr Estrada the deadline.

He says if the resignation doesn't happen, the people will march on Mr Estrada's presidential palace in Malacañang.

Earlier, Governor Joey Lina appeared on live Philippine television to ask people to pray for Mr Estrada's quick resignation.
