German TV to show Becker divorce case live
Germans are expected home from work early tomorrow after the country's main TV stations announced plans to broadcast the legal battle between Barbara and Boris Becker live from a Miami courtroom.
Several hours of live and special commentary programmes are planned, starting in the early afternoon.
The decision has been taken despite appeals from the German journalists' association for TV stations to show "restraint and sensitivity" in dealing with the divorce and custody case.
The hearing will be the first time the pair have been together outside of closed-door meetings at their lawyers' offices.
The court in Miami will have to decide whether the case will be heard in the US or if it can be moved to Munich.
