Balding men who have hair transplants may be easy to mock but they are likely to have the last laugh, according to new research.

Scientists found that follically challenged men were rated as more youthful, attractive, successful, and approachable after a transplant by a panel of unbiased volunteers.

A group of 122 participants, about half of whom were also men, were asked to rate 13 pairs of images including “before and after” pictures of seven individuals who had undergone hair transplants.
