Prosecutors consider Cliff Richard abuse charge

Prosecutors are considering whether to bring charges against veteran entertainer Cliff Richard over alleged historical sex abuse.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said that it will “carefully consider” the file of evidence passed on by South Yorkshire Police.

The 75-year-old star, who denies any wrongdoing, has seen his Berkshire home raided and has spoken to police twice.
