Nancy Reagan had planned funeral to the last detail

Former US first lady Nancy Reagan planned her funeral ceremonies to the last detail — including the list of mourners she wished to attend.

The three days of events began yesterday with a small ceremony for family and friends in Santa Monica, California, followed by a motorcade leading to a public viewing, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, which continues today.

Eight secret service agents who served the Reagans will act as pallbearers when the body is taken from the Santa Monica funeral home.
