VIDEO: A sustainable water bottle that you can eat

Introducing Ooho - the water bottle that feels like a fruit.

Designed by Skipping Rocks Lab, it’s designed to be a sustainable replacement to plastic water bottles.

To create an Ooho, a blob of water is frozen then coated with a transparent, dual-layer membrane made of brown algae and calcium chloride. When the water melts, it is then sealed in a water tight and durable coating. To drink, you simply pierce the membrane.
