Apparently not all that book-smart.
Texan data-analyst, Andrew Powell-Morse, took a look at 225 recent Billboard chart hits that stayed at the top for three weeks or more.
His findings?
The lyrics of our new favourite songs are written for a third-grade reading level.
For the non-American in us, that’s the reading level of eight to nine year-olds.
