‘Fault In Our Stars’ big winner at MTV Movie Awards

Teen love story The Fault In Our Stars was the big winner at the MTV Movie Awards during a show filled with motivational messages.

Shailene Woodley picked up the Trailblazer Award and best female performance at the ceremony, while the movie about two teenagers who meet at a cancer support group won movie of the year and best kiss for a clinch between Woodley and love interest Ansel Elgort.

Collecting her Trailblazer prize at the ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, Woodley said: “In thinking about this I realised we can’t fully be ourselves without a community reflecting back to us who we truly are and who we pick up along the trail. For all of you who have been pillars to me and who I have been a pillar for, continue. Let’s trailblaze on!”
