The âlawn sellerâ, as the newspaper dubbed the dealer, was sentenced to four months in jail for hitting the blind man. He will serve his jail sentence home with an electronic bracelet.

It follows the use of the so-called hashflags for teams during major sporting events, including the World Cup.
More than a quarter of cyclists have had their bikes stolen and one in seven has been a victim of theft in the past two years, according to a survey.

A log cabin that a family reported stolen off its foundation has been found in rural north east Washington.
Stevens County sheriff Kendle Allen said deputies following a tip found the cabin about 16km from its original location. He said the structure had been placed on stilts and was sitting at the end of a private road east of Springdale.
A 7.5m-long chunk of fibreglass boat spotted drifting off the central Oregon coast is believed to be debris from the 2011 Japanese tsunami.
Chris Havel, of the Oregon parks and recreation department, said the debris was spotted a few miles offshore. A team of Oregon state agencies is working to retrieve the vessel chunk before it reaches land.

The owner of a 17lb Siamese cat named Liam says he has nearly used up his nine lives after getting shocked on a power pole and falling 25 feet.
