Dara Ó Briain visits UCC to honour mathematician

Dara Ó Briain took time out from tickling the funny bones of Cork audiences to tickle his own fancy in a visit to UCC campus today.

The UK based Irish comedian has a penchant for science and mathematics and joined in the celebration of George Boole, the first Professor of Mathematics at UCC, whose influence on logic, probability and mathematics has seen him being credited as the father of the digital age.
