Pro-Obama piece condemned for offensive headline

A New York newspaper has been heavily criticised after it used the N-word in the headline of an opinion piece about US President Barack Obama.

The piece, which was pro-Obama, entitled 'The N***** In the White House', by journalist and author James Lincoln Collier was published in the West View News.

The editor of the paper, George Capsis, 86, told Sky News that his staff had strongly advised him not to use the offensive word in the headline.
