Alec Baldwin is arrested

New York City police have arrested actor, film producer and comedian Alec Baldwin for riding a bike the wrong way down a street and acting belligerently toward the arresting officers.

The star was handcuffed and taken into custody at about 10.15am yesterday.

They say two officers noticed him riding his bicycle the wrong way on 16th Street by Fifth Avenue near Union Square Park.
