Partner ‘ready to forgive’ Hollande

François Hollande’s partner Valerie Trierweiler is “ready to forgive” the French president for having a secret affair with a 41-year old actress, but wants “clarification” about his future intentions, it was reported.

Trierweiler, who was admitted for depression and extreme fatigue last Friday, is said to have been stunned by revelations made in Closer magazine that her partner was having an affair with Julie Gayet.

Daily newspaper Le Parisien said the Paris Match journalist Trierweiler does not immediately intend to end her relationship with Hollande, who broke the news of the affair to her himself last Thursday night.
