Stabbing death

Singer Jessie J said she was “lost for words” today after a father of two died following a bottle attack at a party she performed at.

The Brit Award-winner sang at the function hosted by smartphone company BlackBerry before Phillip Sherriff, 37, was stabbed.

The telecommunications professional from Preston, Lancashire, died in hospital this morning after a four-day battle to save his life.
