THE BBC has asked NATO to investigate the death of one of its journalists in Afghanistan after reports suggested foreign forces could have been involved.

Ahmed Omed Khpulwak, 25, was one of 19 people killed in attacks on Tarin Kot, the provincial capital of Uruzgan province in the south of the country last week.

The Taliban were initially blamed for his death, but there have since been claims that Afghan government troops or NATO forces may have been responsible.
