One injured in bull run fest

ONE person was injured on the fifth day of the running of the bulls at Spain’s San Fermin festival in what was otherwise a fast, clean sprint.

One bull took off like lightning, knocking runners over as if they were toys, as the pack of six animals — and six steers meant to keep them together — left the corral and rumbled through the old quarter of Pamplona. One person was taken to hospital with an injury to the right leg, suffered during a fall.

Three runs remain in Spain’s most famous summer festival.
