AN exclusive London hotel was evacuated last night after a fire in a kitchen.

About 1,500 people were forced to leave the Hilton in Park Lane after the blaze took hold on the second floor.

London Fire Brigade said they were alerted shortly before 7pm to reports of smoke in a second floor kitchen vent and in the basement.
