Murder charge for ex-president

THE former president of the Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, has revealed he has been charged with the killing of a journalist in 2000.

Kuchma said: “I have been served with charges.” However, he added: “I have not yet read (them) from beginning to end.”

He said that he will meet investigators on Monday.
