Nine die after Taiwan bar fire

NINE people were killed yesterday and 11 others were injured in fire in a bar in the Taiwanese city of Taichung, officials say.

The fire was thought to have started after a performance in the bar that involved sparks.

It was extinguished but bodies were found trapped.
