Fatal crash

A 30-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist died following a collision with a car in Sligo yesterday.

The incident happened at approximately 5.30pm on the N17 between Tubercurry and Charlestown.

The motorcyclist was brought to Sligo General Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
