One Direction’s Styles crowned top of the mops

BOYBAND heartthrob Harry Styles has been crowned top of the mops for his hit hairdo.

The One Direction star — who came third in this year’s X Factor — has topped a poll declaring him to have the “best celebrity hair” of the year.

Topping the worst hairstyle list in the annual survey, commissioned by Brylcreem, are the gravity- defying quiffs sported by the Jedward twins.

Curly-locked Styles turned the tables on X Factor winner Matt Cardle, who finished in second place.

But another contestant from the ITV1 show is an unlikely inclusion in the best barnet list — Wagner is listed in seventh place.

Prime Minister David Cameron made it into the top 10 best styles, while Deputy PM Nick Clegg is listed as one of the worst.

Princes William and Harry also divided voters. Harry was third best hairstyle, while William was third worst.

Over 3,000 people voted in the poll, for Brylcreem’s 9th Men’s Hair Week.
