Palin denies any political motive in Iowa book-signing

FORMER Alaska governor and 2008 US Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin insisted abook-signing in Iowa had no political motive as speculation mounts she may run for the White House in 2012.

Hundreds turned out amid tight security for the book signing in West Des Moines, bringing Palin back to Iowa, which hosts the caucuses that kick off the presidential nominating season.

The American By Heart author has previously hinted she is considering a presidential run.
