CHRIS EVANS has been crowned the new breakfast king – with an all-time record radio audience which even smashed through the bar set by his predecessor Terry Wogan.

A total of 9.5 million listeners tune each week to Evans’ BBC Radio 2 show, a million more than Wogan attracted.
