Stricken Elton cancels shows

ELTON John is “absolutely fine” despite cancelling more shows on doctor’s orders, his spokesman said yesterday.

The 62-year-old singer is suffering from a serious case of E-coli bacterial infection and influenza, a statement on his official website said.

But Elton John’s spokesman said: “He has flu and is absolutely fine.”
