A PREGNANT teenage girl has died after contracting swine flu, it was confirmed yesterday.

The 17-year-old, who was from the Borders, died ā€œin the last 24 hoursā€, a spokesman for the Scottish Government said.

Due to the sudden nature of this death, a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal, the spokesman added.
