Pregnant teenager dies after contracting swine flu

A PREGNANT teenage girl has died after contracting swine flu, it was confirmed yesterday.

The 17-year-old, who was from the Borders, died “in the last 24 hours”, a spokesman for the Scottish Government said.

Due to the sudden nature of this death, a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal, the spokesman added.
