Hollywood star Willis to invest in struggling vodka maker

DIE HARD actor Bruce Willis is to invest in Belvedere SA, the French-Polish vodka maker that filed for creditor protection earlier this year.

The company surged in Paris trading yesterday after announcing Willis’s investment.

Willis will also take a board seat and help “accelerate development” of the company’s Polish Sobieski brand, Beaune.

The actor isn’t the first celebrity to foray into premium-priced liquor. Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs teamed up with Diageo to create the Ciroc vodka brand in 2007.
