7 Irish films to debut at Toronto festival

IRELAND’S Hollywood elite are set to be out in force on the red carpet this week as seven homegrown movies debut at a film festival which has become the biggest indicator of Oscar glory.

Golden Globe winner Colin Farrell along with Cillian Murphy and Brendan Gleeson are on the role of credits for the Toronto Film Festival which begins tomorrow.

A record seven Irish feature films, backed by the Irish Film Board, will open at the festival.
