Passenger in midair jump

A PASSENGER on a flight in northern Canada opened the aircraft’s door and leapt to his death, making the freezing cabin depressurise at 23,000 feet.

Police Sgt Harold Trupish said the incident happened on a flight to Cambridge Bay in western Nunavut.

The twin-engined turboprop was about 178km from the airport when the man jumped.
