TWO separate investigations are under way following the death of a 44-year-old construction worker at Dublin Airport yesterday morning.

Gardaí in Santry as well as the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) immediately launched probes into the seventh workplace death so far this year which happened at about 9.30am at the front of the airport’s old terminal building.

It was reported by gardaí that the man was on the runway apron when he was struck by a small bulldozer and got trapped under the vehicle’s wheels.
