Judge denies woman custody of Jackson’s children
Nona Paris Lola Jackson, 36, had asked a judge in Los Angeles to grant her joint physical custody of the pop singer’s 10-year-old son, Prince Michael, and his nine-year-old daughter, Paris. She also claims to be the mother of five-year-old Prince Michael II.
“I feel her evidence fails to establish any genetic relationship between herself and the Jackson-Rowe children,” Judge Robert Schnider said.
Mr Schnider also denied the woman’s request to nullify Jackson’s marriages with his former wives, Deborah Rowe and Lisa Marie Presley.
Ms Jackson spoke to the court through a telephone and loudspeaker.
Jackson and Rowe did not attend the hearing.
Jackson settled a custody fight with Rowe over his two eldest children last September. Details of that agreement have not been released. Jackson has not identified the mother of Prince Michael II.
Ms Jackson had sought joint physical custody of the children while giving Jackson legal custody. In court papers, she offered a tentative schedule for visits.
She also asked the court to grant her child support in an amount to be determined by Jackson, along with possession of his Neverland Ranch and a home in California’s San Fernando Valley.
In court papers, Ms Jackson contended: “Michael and I are a sexually active couple and have been this way from the beginning.”
She also claimed to have written more than 3,000 songs for him.
The woman’s three previous attempts to intervene in the custody battle between Rowe and Jackson were rejected by the same judge last November, in February and in May on grounds she had failed to notify Jackson and Rowe of the hearings.
