Teen has espresso overdose

A TEENAGER was rushed to hospital after overdosing on espresso coffee.

The 17-year-old, who downed seven double espresso coffees while working in the family’s sandwich shop, yesterday urged people to be wary of drinking too much coffee after her experience left her “burning up and hyperventilating”.

Student Jasmine Willis, of Stanley, County Durham, had to be rushed to the University Hospital of North Durham after developing a fever.
