Concrete offer of $1,525 for ‘face of Jesus Christ’

A SMUDGE of driveway sealant said to resemble the face of Jesus Christ has fetched more than $1,500 (€1,096) in an online auction.

The family who found the image on their garage floor in Forest, Virginia, sold it for $1,525.69 on eBay, more than a week after the concrete slab went on sale.

“I really never thought I’d get any (money), to be honest,” said Deb Serio, a high school teacher who has received hundreds of messages from interested people around the world.
