‘Heroes’ catch baby after four storey fall

TWO New York men are being hailed as heroes after catching a toddler as he tumbled four storeys from a fire escape.

Julio Gonzalez and Pedro Nevarez spotted three-year-old Timothy Addo dangling from a railing screaming for help and rushed to position themselves underneath him.

As the tot plunged to the ground he first hit some tree branches and then bounced off 40-year-old Mr Navarez’s chest, straight into Mr Gonzalez’s arms.
