And he will only get that support by making significant changes to his policies, Green education spokesperson Paul Gogarty said.

In an interview published yesterday, Mr Kenny said if Fine Gael and Labour won 79 or 80 seats in the next election, he would approach the Greens to make the 83- seat total required to form a majority government.
