Top Gear awards ‘half-arsed’ Jag XK Car of the Year

MOTORING presenter Jeremy Clarkson has helped vote the British-built Jaguar XK Top Gear magazine’s Car of the Year despite describing the vehicle as “a half-arsed car from a cash-strapped company”.

He said the XK would “one day be given a proper aerial”, it had “a troublesome interior” and could do with “a newer engine”.

“Just like the Supermarine Spitfire.”
