Police strengthen plea for help

POLICE investigating the disappearance of 22-year-old Rachel Moran yesterday said they will overlook minor crimes if it means someone will come forward with information.

Humberside Police have taken the unusual step in the hope it will encourage people who would not normally get in touch with them to tell them what they know about Rachel’s disappearance.

The decision not to prosecute many offences if it means receiving information which helps determine what happened to Rachel was made in consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, a Humberside Police spokeswoman said.
