Kiddie couch potatoes need to be ‘free-range’ flock

OBESITY researchers have identified an alarming phenomenon – the three-year-old couch potato.

Tests in Britain showed that the children were so inactive they risked becoming grossly overweight. Similar results were found when the youngsters were tested again at the age of five.

Experts recommend that children of this age engage in at least an hour of moderate to vigorous exercise a day.
