Britain ‘charging victims’ for Omagh bomb trauma centre

The British Government was accused yesterday of charging Omagh bomb victims millions of pounds for the privilege of a new trauma centre.

Outraged relatives of those killed in the terror attack claimed cash being pumped into the project should have been provided by the British National Health Service.

Less than 18 months after a special unit set up to counsel those scarred by the atrocity closed, the Northern Ireland Centre for Trauma and Transformation has set up in the Co Tyrone town.
